Welcome to EDUC 4314

EDUC 4314 Music Education - Junior/Intermediate is a 24 hour course that represents 1.5 credits in the Bachelor of Education degree programme.  This course utilizes a hands-on approach to music education that emphasizes process over product and engages all students in authentic musical experiences that encourage them to examine the role of music in their lives and in the lives of their future students.

In addition, this study of music curricula  promotes aesthetic development through experiences of singing, playing, listening, creating, and moving. It is also an examination of systems which develop the skills of reading and writing the language of music.
