The PURPOSE of this site is to:

• Focus attention on the salamanders of our region

• Educate and motivate people about salamanders

• Encourage public participation in monitoring salamanders

• Help coordinate the efforts of local conservation agencies

• Link local monitoring efforts with the purposes of ongoing national and international monitoring programs.
