1996 & 1997 DOS Versions

Q2. I am struggling with the zoom function. Is there an easier way to use this function effectively?

A2. A lot of people are used to the 'click and drag' functions from various current software. In this case, you must left-click on the mouse once (don't hold the button down) and then scroll your mouse to provide you with the appropriate 'zoom box'. If you are not happy with the size or the location of the 'zoom box', simply right-click on the mouse and start again at the zoom function. When you are satisfied with your 'zoom box', left-click on the mouse again and you will instantly see the enlarged map. If you are not happy with the zoom, use the Previous Zoom or Original Map functions found in the Options Menu.

Q3. I have an interview at Central Huron Secondary School in Clinton, Ontario in two weeks. I know that Clinton belongs to the Avon Maitland District School Board (pre-1998: Huron County Board of Education) and it is located in Western Ontario. Since I am originally from Cochrane, I never had the chance to visit that part of Ontario. In order to prepare myself for this interview, I feel that I should learn more about the area but I don't have enough money to visit there. How can E-STAT help me?

A3. By using E-STAT you can easily choose from 600 census variables to provide you with the information needed to familiarize yourself with a community. The following steps will help you collect this raw data

Before you start, you need to know if your community has a population under or above 50,000. If you do not know, please follow the steps in A1 (above).
