STC Workshops

The Stations:

    1. Focus Questions on E-Stat Resources for Teachers
    2. Using Canadian Social Trends
    3. Four sample articles from "The Daily"
    4. Activities on Using E-STAT on the Web
    5. Activities Using the Statistics Canada Web Site - http://www.statcan.ca
    6. Activities Using The Canada Yearbook 1997

The Workshop Approach:

This handbook has, as its major pedagogical premise, the notion that most people learn how to use educational material best in a "hands-on" student centred approach. Each of the stations can be seen as a single workshop or one that is combined with any or all of the others.
