Initially educated as a teacher at the University of London (B.Ed. Hons.), Susan holds both her M.Ed. and PhD. from McGill University in Montreal. She also holds Supervisory Officer’s Certification in Ontario. Current research interests include both pre-service and in-service teacher education, the development of a pedagogy for teacher education, and critical literacy in relation to all aspects of language arts education for contemporary classrooms.
In her free time, Susan is an avid reader, writer, and enjoys communicating with family, friends, and colleagues around the globe. Favourite pastimes also include travel, music and the dramatic arts, photography, and hiking the great outdoors.
