He received his BA in Social Research and MA in Demography from the University of Tehran, and his PhD. in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>His research interests include modeling human f<span style=\"font-weight: normal;color: #000000\">ertility behaviors, family planning, reproductive health, family transformation, health over the life course, and social and economic integration of immigrants.
