Streamflow generation, groundwater-surface water interactions, use of environmental tracers in hydrology, integration of modeling and data, interdisciplinary research
Current Research projects:
- Use of stable water isotopes in the study of water cycling in Precambrian Boreal Shield watersheds and lakes.
- Computer modeling of water quality and quantity in Boreal Shield watersheds.
- The Lake Nipissing Bays project: from headwaters to lake.
- Study of the influence of meteorological conditions on internal nutrient loading to water quality conditions in local bays.
- Study of phosphorus loading from watershed to Bay.

Supervision
I currently supervise graduate students in the Masters of Environmental Science program at Nipissing University and the PhD Boreal Ecology program at Laurentian University.
